• A Father’s Struggle 

Life has not been kind to my dear friend John. A devoted father and a kind-hearted soul, John has spent his years providing for his children, ensuring they have food on their table and a roof over their heads. But today, that roof is gone, washed away by relentless floods that have devastated his home, leaving him and his little ones stranded with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

John’s life has been an uphill battle. Living with HIV, he has fought tirelessly to stay strong for his children, enduring the stigma and hardships that come with his condition. But with the recent floods, his struggles have multiplied. His home a humble place he worked so hard to keep is now uninhabitable, and his already fragile health is at risk as he has run out of the life-saving medication he so desperately needs.

His children, innocent and full of dreams, now face an uncertain future. With their home gone, they are exposed to harsh conditions, hunger, and the cold reality of homelessness. School, which once provided hope for a brighter future, is now a distant thought as they struggle just to survive each day.

I refuse to stand by and watch this family suffer. John needs us he needs you. I am reaching out to raise funds to help rebuild a small, safe home for John and his children, a place where they can sleep without fear and wake up with hope. The funds will also go toward starting a small business for John so he can regain his independence, provide for his children, and afford his medical care.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will be a step toward giving this family a second chance. Imagine the relief on John’s face knowing his children are safe, the hope in his heart when he can take his medicine again, and the joy in his kids’ eyes when they can finally return to school.l
